How do I change the address my email alert is sent to?

If you wish to change any of the details we hold for you, please go to My Details at the top of the site and log in to edit any personal info.

How do I sign up for the email alerts?

You must be a registered user to sign up for the email alerts. If you are already registered you can sign up to receive the email alerts here

How do I unsubscribe from the e-mail newsletters?

Go to the email settings page. You will be prompted to log in first. Then un-check the box at the top of the page that says 'Send me Jobs by Email'

You can also unsubscribe to any of our email alerts by clicking on the unsubscribe link included in them.

I have registered. Why am I not receiving any emails?

Check to make sure that you responded to your welcome email that contains an activation code. You must follow the instructions in this email to activate your account.

If your account is activated go to the jobs by emailand ensure that the status option is enabled If you still don't receive them please email us on grocer.recruitment@william-reed.co.uk or call 0800 2987098

I've stopped receiving my email alert. What should I do?

Go to the email settings page and ensure that the box is checked that says 'Send me Jobs by Email'. If you still don't receive them please email us on  grocer.recruitment@william-reed.co.uk or call 0800 2987098

The email alerts I receive don't look right - why is this?

It might be that the email application you are using does not support HTML emails. You can opt to receive your emails in plain text instead by going to the email settings page and selecting ‘plain text’

Why don’t some of the links in my email work?

Your email application might be truncating the length of text lines in your email. If this is the case, copy and paste the whole link into your browser address bar. If this doesn’t work, please forward a copy of the email to grocer.recruitment@william-reed.co.uk explaining the problem.

Can I access the site from another computer once I am signed up?

Yes. Your username and your password are fully transferable, which means access to this site is not limited to a single computer.

Concurrent logins however are not allowed, so two people cannot use the same login details at the same time.

Can more than one user register/subscribe from the same e-mail address?

No

I can't remember my username?

Your username is the email address that you used to sign up with.

Is registration free? What benefits do I get from registering?

To apply for jobs online you will need to register on the site.

Registration, which is free, will also allow access to the following areas of TheGrocer.co.uk:

· Grocer Directories Brand Search: A sample search for brands and companies on The Grocer Directory of Manufactures and Suppliers (limited to ten searches per day)

· Grocer Directories Product Search: A sample search for products, suppliers and retailers on both The Grocer Directory of Manufactures and Suppliers and The Grocer Directory of Buyers and Retailer

· Grocer Archive Search: You will be able to search our archive of six years of The Grocer magazine. In order to view any articles you will need to take out an Access All Areas or Archive Only subscription.

To access Grocer Today, our online news service, or Grocer Archive articles, where we hold articles printed in The Grocer magazine for the past 6 years and special reports, you will need to subscribe. To find out more about these products and how to subscribe online, please visit TheGrocer.co.uk

I've forgotten my password

Why am I told that my e-mail address is already in use?

It could be that you started the registration/subscription process but didn't finish it. Check to make sure that you responded to your welcome email that contains an activation code. You must follow the instructions in this email to activate your account

Why doesn’t my password work?

Your password is case sensitive. Make sure you do not have caps-lock on and re-type carefully. If it still doesn't work, go to Forgotten Password?

Which browser should I be using to get the most from your site?

We recommend using Firefox 1.0 Or Microsoft Internet Explorer 5+ to view CIFAD.co.uk. To install the newest version of Internet Explorer or Firefox go to:
